The GCC Psychology Department offers specialized classes that go deeper into human learning and behavior. 

• PSY 241 Understanding and Changing Behavior
• PSY 242 Understanding and Changing Behavior - Lab
• PSY 243 - The Psychology of Developmental Disabilities

These courses are a part of the Developmental Disabilities Specialist Certificate program (DDSC).  There are lots of jobs in this area and these courses can be the start of a new career working with children, teens, and adults in educational and clinical settings.
